Staking Facilities joins the Graph’s incentivized testnet, Mission Control

‘The Graph’ is a decentralized protocol that enables the indexing and querying of data via ‘subgraphs’. In short — it enables the enhancement and optimization of data in a myriad of ways, unlocking a new level of potential in existing data from any supported source, beginning with the Ethereum ecosystem.
The Graph can not only magnify the utility of an already incredibly valuable asset — data — but it may also create a whole new range of opportunities and product-offerings within the Blockchain space. This is an evolution in DaaS (Data-as-a-Service) and an army of Indexers, Curators and Delegators will each play their own role in supporting the Graph ecosystem.

Throughout the past month, we’ve had the joy of dealing with one of the most supportive and hard-working teams this space has ever seen. Their diligence and efforts have fostered one of the most inclusive, helpful, and involved communities we’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
These endeavors are reflected in us all being able to celebrate the involvement of over 200 operators, made up of teams and individuals alike, who made it through a very demanding yet enjoyable first phase of testnet.
In our eyes, all parties have set a new standard of exactly how a project and its participants can approach collaboration, to maximize the early-stage engagement and decentralization of a project and its network.
We look forward to the challenges of the remaining phases of Mission Control, and a long-standing partnership with the Graph team beyond that, in mainnet!
About the Graph
The Graph is the indexing and query layer of the decentralized web. Developers build and publish open APIs, called subgraphs, that applications can query using GraphQL. There is a hosted service in production that makes it simple for developers to start building on The Graph, and the decentralized network will be launching later this year. The Graph currently supports indexing data from Ethereum, IPFS, and PoA with more networks coming soon. To date, over 2,000 subgraphs have been deployed by thousands of developers for applications, such as Uniswap, Synthetix, Aragon, AAVE, Gnosis, Balancer, Livepeer, DAOstack, Decentraland, and many others.
If you are a developer building an application or Web3 application, you can use subgraphs for indexing and querying data from blockchains. The Graph allows applications to efficiently and performantly present data in a UI and allows other developers to use your subgraph too!
